Oxford Round Table
About Us
Celebrating 37 years!!
Founded in 1989 at St Peter’s College, Oxford, the Oxford Round Table Symposiums have, for more than three decades, convened rigorous international dialogue on pressing issues in education and public life.
Over the years, the symposiums have explored a broad range of themes, including education law, public policy, finance, sustainability, and early childhood education, reflecting the evolving challenges facing educational systems worldwide.
The programmes consistently attract scholars and practitioners from across the globe, fostering a genuinely international and inclusive academic community committed to thoughtful exchange and interdisciplinary perspectives.
Past sessions have received support from organisations such as the British Council, the former British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Rockefeller Foundation, Apple Computer, Boeing, and the Bernard van Leer Foundation of The Hague.
In recent years, the Oxford Round Table has also expanded to include curated travel programmes and student-focused initiatives, extending its academic mission beyond the conference setting.
